Travel accessories and electronics specialist Travel Blue has teamed up with Sunrise Duty Free to open a 28sqm corner at Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3.
Opened to cater to the increased demand for travel accessories, the space offers travellers the complete range of Travel Blue products, including Procter & Gamble (P&G) brands Oral-B, Braun and Duracell, which are distributed by Travel Blue.

Travel Blue Travel Retail Director Jonathan Smith commented: “It has been around seven years since Sunrise Duty Free first introduced the Travel Blue brand into its shops. So, we are naturally thrilled that February saw the launch of our first corner with the operator. The demand for travel accessories has been increasing steadily for a number of years now, and we are determined to be at the forefront of this promising growth. Asia is a very important region for us in terms of our global travel retail strategy, so opening this corner is a significant move; one that we hope will be repeated in other key Asia destinations.”

Travel Blue said it is looking forward to speaking to retailers at next month’s TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition and Conference (stand G1, Basement 2) to discuss how a branded Travel Blue corner could help increase basket size, and drive footfall in a very small area.
