UK. Travel experience specialist CAVU has appointed Nick Woods as Managing Director, signalling a new phase of growth for the company.
CAVU, part of Manchester Airports Group (MAG), works with airports, airlines and travel partners to unlock value across the end-to-end passenger journey, with a focus on digital, data and commercial performance.
Woods joins with extensive experience within MAG, where he has held senior technology leadership roles since 2016.

He was appointed as MAG’s Chief Technology Officer in 2017 and Chief Information Officer in 2018, playing a central role in advancing a data-led approach to innovation, operational performance and customer experience.
In 2024, Woods was recognised in the CIO 100 Awards UK, underlining the impact of his work in driving technology-enabled transformation.
In the new role, he will lead CAVU’s next stage of development as the business seeks to further integrate its capabilities and strengthen its proposition to partners across the travel ecosystem.
Woods commented: “We’re building something special; the pieces are already there. The job now is to truly bring it together. The future of travel doesn’t need more noise. It needs clarity.
