The latest edition of TRI-POD, The Moodie Davitt Report’s video podcast in association with Organico Group, features Suzanne Fiore, the Founder of recently created Studio Fiore, a dynamic New York-based creative consultancy dedicated to the cruise sector, in particular, and the wider travel industry.
As Co-hosts Roger Jackson (Organico Group Co-Founder) and Martin Moodie (The Moodie Davitt Report Founder & Chairman) discover, Studio Fiore offers a wide array of expertise and advice in destination enrichment, guest experience and strategic activation across the burgeoning cruiseline world.
As reported, the new venture leverages more than two decades of Suzanne’s expertise in commercial strategy, retail, partnerships and experiential design.
Suzanne is widely recognised for her leadership roles across the cruise and luxury sectors, notably as Senior Vice President of HFG Media, the media division of Effy Jewelry, and Vice President of Cruise Retail at Effy, where she helped drive revenue growth and commercial development for the cruise retail division.
In a fascinating discussion, Suzanne recalls how she got an “adrenaline rush” from first watching thousands of passengers heading onboard, later enjoying a tremendous rapport with cruise guests.
Asked what her fledgling firm is attempting to deliver, Suzanne replies, “When people take a cruise, you want to show that the guest is, one, satisfied, and two, they’re going to book again, which is the most important thing to the cruise brand.
“Guests are at the heart of absolutely everything that I do, and that we do as an industry.
“I just love to enrich people and give them an incredible experience.”
As always, we also take Suzanne to our resident TRI-POD desert island, offering her a choice of goods and experiences to help while away the time.
But instead of our usual transport on low-cost carrier TRI-POD Airlines, we sail her onboard our newly launched, albeit archaic, cruiseliner ‘Roger of the Oceans’, sailing under dual Kiwi and English flags.

On the island, Suzanne reveals some fascinating choices, including her nominated guests (living or dead) for a special dinner party. Expect sparks to fly between a famed Spanish artist and a renowned American chat show host.
