UK. Turkish Airlines has opened its first airport lounge in Europe outside Türkiye at Edinburgh Airport. The Turkish Airlines Lounge is a partnership with Plaza Premium Group (PPG).
The 673sq m facility accommodates up to 149 guests and is open to Turkish Airlines Business Class passengers, Miles&Smiles members, Star Alliance customers and Plaza Premium Group partner airlines.

PPG said the space design aligns with Turkish Airlines’ global lounge standards, with a focus on comfort, privacy and cultural expression.
The food & beverage offer features a menu combining Turkish, Central Asian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Balkan influences.

The selection includes Halal-certified hot and cold dishes, traditional sweets and Turkish tea and coffee.
The lounge layout features multiple zones designed to serve different traveller needs, including premium seating areas, a VIP area, a prayer room with ablution facilities and a dedicated nursing room.
The space benefits from natural light, with views over the runway and Edinburgh Airport’s surrounding hills.
