Dubai-based Vintage International has struck an agreement with the much-respected Thomas Hine & Co. Cognac house to represent the brand in the Middle East local and duty free markets.
The partnership marks Vintage International’s debut in the Cognac sector. The company, founded in 2002, represents several brands in the Middle East, including those of Silent Pool Gin, Loch Lomond Group, Konik’s Tail vodka and Sierra tequila (in Middle East travel retail).
Vintage International Managing Director Salim Farhat told The Moodie Davitt Report: “We are very excited to announce our partnership with the Hine Cognac house. Our partnership occurs at a time when the world starts to recover from the pandemic and we believe this is the ideal time to explore ways of working closely together.
“Both companies represent a boutique and niche experience of collaborating. The elegant Hine collection slots perfectly into our fine wines and spirits portfolio. We welcome the opportunity to work closely with this revered Cognac house.”

Hine Deputy Commercial Director Per Even Allaire commented: “The successful international development of Hine Cognacs is significantly due to the quality of the relationships that our 259 years’ young company has built around the globe over time.
“The shared values between Vintage International and Hine, as well as their expertise and recognised professionalism in the Middle East, makes us confident in the success ahead of us. We firmly believe that our collaboration will increase our presence rapidly and enable more people to enjoy Hine in the region.”
