SWITZERLAND. The Swatch Irony Collection represents savvy styling, rooted in the Swatch tradition since its launch in 1993. This year for the spring / summer 2004 collection Swatch continues to break new ground with new combinations of metal and aluminium, space images and pop colours, keeping the brand at the level of a lifestyle accessory.
The main highlights of the Collection are the Nabab Partisan (pictured) suitable for the city to the rugged outback with thick brown padded leather strap; Lady Lady; Nabab Tribal Chief (with abstract new age-style motif) and Snake Charmer (with its bold face and synthetic snake-skin strap). Lady Lady is available in Turquoise Glimmer, Lady Lady Alu (with multi colour leather streams for petite wrists) and Lady Lady Schiava dell’Ora (with shackle design).
The new Swatch Chrono Alu in Arancia Infocata features a black leather strap and face with a striking orange palette for a sporty look. The Swatch Diaphane Chrono Bufera grabs the attention with a clear contrast of materials and galactic images on the face which are reminiscent of space or time travel. A black rubber strap with engraved design carries an aluminium buckle and is attached to a frosted Diaphane case with black dial and three black chronograph counters.
