YSL Beauté has appointed legendary make-up artist Tom Pecheux as its new Global Beauty Director.
French-born Pecheux, who has a career spanning three decades, has created make-up looks for the world’s most glamorous runways.
YSL, who described Pecheux as a “true visionary”, said he is constantly in demand for his “seemingly inexhaustible reserves of talent and ideas”.
Pecheux will work in the studio with YSL Beauté ambassadors Staz Lindes, Anja Rubik, Crista Cober and Edie Campbell to create new looks for YSL Beaute’s advertising campaigns. He will also collaborate with the brand’s key colour cosmetics creators in the laboratory to develop innovative products and provide the latest YSL Beauté make-up innovations and his ‘how-tos’ via social media.
