ASIA PACIFIC. The Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association (APTRA) has published an online database of industry contacts across the region, for use by its members.
Choosing “˜retailers’ on the front page, an interactive map highlights airports, downtown stores and ferry locations, with another option to search for airlines.
Contact details for retailers are available by product category, while the airline section provides details of the company operating the airline’s retail offer and contact information for the retail manager. Data on airport commercial managers is available where possible.

Choosing “˜suppliers’ leads to a list of companies searchable by product category.
The association called the database, hosted on the APTRA website, as a “vital instrument in the armoury of the duty free and travel retail professional in the Asia Pacific region”.
APTRA President Jaya Singh said: “”Improving connectivity is one of the pillars of the APTRA strategy. This database is the first major step towards that objective. The value for members is clear. This is only the first milestone and many will recognise the scalability and the all-round benefits that this brings.

“This is exactly what members were asking for. I am very pleased that the APTRA board and executive team, as well as all those who are contributing, have been able to deliver on a clear need.”
