Areas accelerates dining transformation at Paris–Beauvais Airport with three-brand expansion

FRANCE. Areas France has expanded its food & beverage offer at Paris-Beauvais Airport with the opening of Rossopomodoro in Terminal 1 and PAUL Le Café in Terminal 2.

The Areas proprietary concept Deli&Cia will follow, with trading set to begin in early July.

The openings come only months after Areas, as reported, renewed its concession partnership with the airport for a further four years.

The spacious Rossopomodoro Italian concept is a key element in the upgraded food & beverage offer at Paris-Beauvais Airport

Areas said it is rolling out a complementary portfolio of brands to meet demand across different passenger segments, from full-service dining to premium grab-and-go offers.

Rossopomodoro opened in the public area of Terminal 1 on 28 May, marking the Italian pizza brand’s second airport location in France following its debut at Basel–Mulhouse Airport.

Founded in Naples in 1998, the brand operates more than 100 restaurants worldwide and offers handcrafted Neapolitan pizzas and traditional Italian dishes.

PAUL Le Café began welcoming passengers in Terminal 2 in mid-June. The coffee shop format extends the PAUL bakery brand into a café environment, serving speciality coffees, pastries, snacks and other beverages.

The next phase of the programme will see the launch of Deli&Cia, the Areas in-house brand, already well-established across Spain.

Paris-Beauvais Airport Managing Director Anthony Martin said, “At Paris-Beauvais Airport, we are committed to continuously enhancing our commercial offering in order to provide our passengers with an increasingly high-quality experience that meets their expectations.

“The recent openings of Rossopomodoro in Terminal 1 and PAUL Le Café in Terminal 2 reflect this ambition that we share with our long-standing partner Areas: offering greater choice, comfort and conviviality throughout the passenger journey.

“Whether passengers are looking for a meal before boarding or a gourmet break, these new concepts contribute to making the travel experience more enjoyable while reinforcing the quality of welcome that defines our airport.”

Areas France CEO Mathieu Herrero added, “The renewal of our partnership with Paris-Beauvais Airport marks a new stage in our collaboration.

“Passenger traffic growth goes hand in hand with increasing expectations from travellers, who are looking for attractive concepts, well-known brands and dining options suited to every moment of their journey.

“With the arrival of Rossopomodoro and PAUL Le Café, we are sustainably enriching the passenger experience while reaffirming our ambition to make Paris-Beauvais a benchmark for hospitality and food service in the airport sector.”

Paris-Beauvais Airport served more than 6.5 million passengers in 2024, ranking among France’s ten busiest airports. ‍
