CANADA. ARI North America is playing its part in marking the National Day of Joy celebrations coordinated by parent company ARI this week with a range of activities across its Canadian locations.
As reported, ARI has launched a campaign across its global network that aims to foster closer connections to colleagues and customers. It chimes with the company’s brand expression ‘Joy On Your Way’.
The retailer is marking the occasion with a striking makeover of The Moodie Davitt Report desktop homepage along with an elegantly curated treatment of our mobile website.

At Montréal Duty Free, colleagues and customers enjoyed complimentary popsicles throughout National Day of Joy (24 June), while team members were treated to chair massages during their breaks as a gesture of appreciation for their dedication and hard work.
ARI North America Head of Marketing Katherine Sullivan said the day was about recognising the people behind “the everyday moments” that travellers remember long after their journey.
“Joy On Your Way starts with our people,” she said. “Every day, our teams bring warmth, personality and a distinctly Canadian welcome to travellers passing through our stores.

“Whether it’s helping someone find the perfect gift, sharing a local recommendation or simply offering a friendly smile before a flight, those moments matter. Joy Day is an opportunity to celebrate those colleagues and recognise the role they play in creating memorable experiences for travellers every day.”
She added, “We want travellers to experience the warmth and hospitality Canada is known for before they continue their journey. That’s what our teams deliver every day, alongside great products, memorable experiences and the best brands at the best prices.”
The company noted that its teams on the ground bring a “uniquely Canadian spirit to life every day. Their contribution is a powerful reminder that great travel retail is ultimately built on human connections.” ✈
