CYPRUS. ARI company Cyprus Duty Free celebrated National Day of Joy with colourful displays, character appearances and interactive experiences across Larnaca and Paphos airports this week.
As reported, ARI has launched a campaign across its global network that aims to foster closer connections to colleagues and customers.
The retailer is marking the occasion with a striking makeover of The Moodie Davitt Report desktop homepage along with an elegantly curated treatment of our mobile website.

At the two airports in Cyprus, the activations “created moments of surprise and delight during the busy summer travel season”, said the company.
Cyprus Duty Free teams also took part in ARI’s global ‘Chain of Joy’ initiative, symbolised by the red balloon relay connecting locations across the group’s international estate.

Cyprus Duty Free Marketing Manager Katerina Panayiotova said: “For us, joy is often found in the smallest moments. It can be a smile, a warm welcome or an unexpected interaction that brightens someone’s journey.
“Whether you’re eight or 80, those moments can stay with you long after the trip is over. While Joy Day gives us an opportunity to celebrate together, we believe authentic human connections are what truly bring ‘Joy On Your Way’ to life every day.”
A statement added, “The celebrations reflected the warmth and hospitality that travellers experience every day in Cyprus Duty Free stores, where teams work to create welcoming environments and memorable moments for passengers passing through the airports.
“While simple in nature, the activities served as a reminder that even small gestures can have a positive impact, helping turn an ordinary journey into a more enjoyable one.”
