ATU Duty Free to double retail footprint at Antalya International Airport

TÜRKIYE. ATU Duty Free, a subsidiary of TAV Airports and the Unifree Duty Free/Gebr. Heinemann joint venture, is to launch five new and renovated stores across Antalya International Airport terminals 1 and 2.

By the end of November the company will increase its floor space at the fast-growing Turkish airport to 12,000sq m, doubling the size of its current retail offer.

The company began operations in April this year with its main departures duty-free store in the International Terminal (T2).

It also opened the retail spaces Luxury Square (pictured below) and Old Bazaar, plus two arrivals duty-free stores and the bus gate duty-free shop.

ATU Duty Free President and CEO Ersan Arcan said: “With this expansion project in Antalya International Airport, terminal capacity has doubled, while commercial areas have nearly tripled.
