Cairo Airport Company seeks Expressions of Interest for Terminal 3 commercial opportunity

EGYPT. Cairo Airport Company is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from potential partners to manage around 2,000sq m of airside departures commercial space at Cairo International Airport Terminal 3.

The airport company said it is interested in engaging with “companies that own, manage or have a franchise agreement for multiple international brands or trademarks in F&B and retail”.

Cairo Airport Company will invite qualified companies to tender for the 2,000sq m of space in T3 following the Expressions of Interest phase

Potential candidates should provide legal registration documents, proof of experience (five years or more in commercial operations), certified proof of projects executed in the past three years plus a company profile that outlines relevant information such as structure, corporate capabilities, experience, key staff and more.

The airport company said: “The expression of interest shall include but is not limited to, the applicant vision and concept, the initial operation/work plan, the expected preparation period and the proposed preparedness level. In addition [it should highlight] the capability to provide not less than eight brands or trademarks (including at least five in F&B activity) and also not less than four brands or trademarks (including at least two in retail activity).”

Qualified and short-listed companies will obtain the Request for Proposals documents and can then submit their financial and technical proposals.
