Camus has designs on the Calvados category – 06/02/08

Award-winning line-up: Berneroy Calvados

FRANCE. Top French spirits supplier Camus has won a gold medal for its range of premium Berneroy Calvados in the Wine & Spirit Design Awards 2008.

The accolade comes after the company scooped a series of medals last year for its range of Elegance Cognacs.

Since its creation in the middle of the 20th Century, Berneroy Calvados has gained recognition as a high quality Calvados and one of the leading brands in this category.

Just over a year ago Camus revamped the whole range, including a Fine, VSOP, XO and Extra, using its experience in creating innovative packaging to give Berneroy a fresh look.

“The Berneroy blends were already rewarded last year by the International Spirits Challenge, so it was fitting that this year the new packaging receives its own recognition,” the company said.
