casualfood opens Berlin Pub concept at Brandenburg Airport

GERMANY. Travel dining specialist casualfood has opened the Berlin Pub concept at Berlin Brandenburg Airport Terminal 1.

“We’re looking forward to our customers’ feedback. We developed the Berlin Pub concept specially for Berlin’s new airport, but then we had to postpone the launch because of the long hiatus due to coronavirus. That means we’re even more delighted to be opening at last now,” said casualfood Managing Directors Stefan Weber and Michael Weigel.

The travel F&B company’s new location offers travellers draught beers, wine and homemade soft drinks. It also has a wide array of snacks such as curried sausage, sandwiches, XL Berlin bockwurst sausages and Spreewald gherkins on the menu.

The interior walls are adorned with the Berlin bear mascot to offer Sense of Place. The bar also features views of the airport apron.

The company has eight food concepts at the airport and is the largest food-service operator at the location.
