Chipolo, the company known globally as an item finder pioneer, has added a new One Point line to its portfolio.
All Android users now have the option to track their belongings, including luggage, through using the off-white One Point tags and Google’s Find My Device network. Chipolo released its Chipolo Spot line exclusively with the Apple Find My app last year.
The dark-coloured Chipolo Spot finders are available at London Heathrow, Dublin and Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci airports through a partnership with Inmotion.
Chipolo was brought to life in 2013 by a group of family members and friends who all faced the same everyday problem… finding lost keys. A Kickstarter campaign backed by 5,329 supporters raised over US$290,000. The brand, which takes its name from a combination of Chip and Color, is now available in 195 countries. |

Chipolo CEO and Co-Founder Primož Zelenšek said: “We are proud to be collaborating with Google and to be part of their Find My Device network. We believe this brings the finding experience to a whole new level, as it gives Android users the reassurance to locate their belongings with the help of Google’s global Find My Device network and additional privacy and security that unknown tracker alerts provide.
“Android users can now place Chipolo tags on their belongings to keep better track of what matters, whether that be keys, wallets, or suitcases.”

The trackers are described as a “perfect sidekick for all travellers who want to keep track of their keys, wallets, passports and luggage”.
“We now have products that work with Apple Find My app and those that work with Google’s Find My Device app, covering both Android and iOS operating systems,” Zelenšek added.
“It’s a step closer to a world where people can find their belongings quickly and easily. It might seem like a minor thing, but for us it’s important that people are able to do whatever they love doing with joy and without worrying about their belongings.”
