SWITZERLAND/US. Multi-award winning music star Christina Aguilera (pictured) and Procter & Gamble have signed an international licensing agreement to create Christina Aguilera fragrances.
The company described the collaboration as an exciting growth opportunity for P&G Prestige Products.
“We are thrilled and proud to partner with Christina, one of the most accomplished and recognised international performers of the last decade,” commented Heike Hindenlang, Global Marketing Director Prestige Products.
“She is an inspiration and a role model to women of all ages. Her fragrances will attract new consumers into the fragrance market and further enrich our portfolio.”
To date Aguilera has sold over 25 million albums worldwide and is currently on a successful worldwide tour. Her Grammy-nominated album “Back to Basics” has garnered two successful singles thus far, “Ain’t No Other Man” and “Hurt.”
In fashion terms, Aguilera’s distinctive image is known for being both bold and provocative.
The singer commented: “I love trying new things in my music and in fashion. To have a perfume of my own is the beginning of an exciting adventure. P&G is the ideal partner for this new experience.”
