Fauchon’s new “˜L’Apéritif à la française’ set |
FRANCE. Fauchon Travel Retail has announced the opening of a new corner in the new satellite 4 of Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport’s tErminal 2E, which welcomes passengers from Asia (Japan, China and Korea) and Russia. The new opening follows the April launch of Fauchon in Terminal 2AC.
The brand will introduce a new sales concept combining its three star product lines: macarons, fresh chocolates and gourmet gifts.
Building on the success of its macarons line in Hong Kong International Airport in 2011, Fauchon is expanding the distribution of this traditional French pastry. This collection includes eight flavours: chocolate, vanilla, praline hazelnut, pistachio, raspberry, lemon, caramel, and coffee.
Fauchon is also introducing two new creations in the confectionery segment specially developed for the Asian market. The Sparkling Plumier tin is filled with 12 dark chocolate squares, infused with a subtle vanilla flavour. The second item is a gift box containing 32 dark chocolate squares, featuring eight different flavour varieties.
Lastly, Fauchon’s gourmet gift collection has been expanded with a new French Aperitif set “˜L’Apéritif à la française’. It includes a bottle of Bordeaux wine, duck foie gras and toasts and cheddar crepes, all presented in a portable gift bag.
Fauchon Travel Retail currently represents 6% of the Fauchon Group’s total revenue for 2011/2012.
