Favarger’s Chocolate Fondue instore promotion at Abu Dhabi Duty Free |
The pralines contain hazelnut chips and almond slivers and come in a box with a striking seventies’ flower-power theme.
The Spring Box is already available in travel retail, having made its debut at the 4th Festival du Chocolat in Versoix in March. More than 19,000 visitors attended the festival, said Favarger, +20% more than in 2007.
The one-day event saw Favarger opening its chocolate factory to more than 5,000 visitors. The factory tour included the making of a chocolate statue by Carouge confectioner Philippe Pascoët. A marquee was also installed for a tasting that combined Swiss wines and Avelines chocolates.
In other news, personalised gondola units have already been installed in the Dubai, Egypt and Singapore Changi airports, Favarger Marketing Manager Claudia Jaermann told The Moodie Report.
The company will also be venturing into China, Gibraltar and Korea soon, she added.
Favarger has just concluded the promotion of its Chocolate Fondue in Abu Dhabi Airport. It will roll out promotions for its Avelines Earl Grey Tea with Dufry in Basel, Milan, Rome and Tunisia in coming months.
