FINLAND. The arctic homeland of Finlandia Vodka served as centre stage for the drinks brand’s international cocktail competition.
The eighth annual International Finlandia Vodka Cup took place in January in Lapland, Finland, bringing together thousands of top bartenders from around the world to showcase their signature drinks.
Helsinki bartender Jan Lindgren won the final competition with his recipe for a Blueberry Blues cocktail.
The bartenders were judged on the art, style and craft behind creative cocktailing as judges searched for the world’s best aperitif, long drink and after-dinner drink.
Every drink had to have a new and original recipe based on Finlandia Vodka or a member of its flavour family: Cranberry Fusion, Lime Fusion, Mango Fusion, or Wild Berries Fusion.
