HONG KONG. Successfully launched in Europe in Fall 2002, the new women’s fragrance by Giorgio Armani, Sensi, has made an excellent debut with the launch in Hong Kong airport in February.
Nuance Watson Hong Kong – the first duty free retailer to launch Sensi in Asia – has achieved record sales additionally fuelled by high Chinese New Year traffic. Giorgio Armani already has a strong following in the men’s segment and has further strengthened its ambitions to succeed in the women’s segment with Sensi. In 2001 Giorgio Armani was the seventh leading brand in global travel retail perfumery, with a 3.7% market share according to Generation DataBank, and it had many of the fastest-growing lines.
Sensi will be rolled out throughout the rest of Asia in May, and finally in the US in Autumn 2003.
