New boutiques in Asia are joining Frey Wille’s flagship store in Vienna this year |
AUSTRIA. Austrian enamel jeweller Frey Wille is focusing on Asia for its international expansion this year with a series of store openings in Greater China, Japan and South Korea.
Next month sees the opening of the first Frey Wille boutique in Hong Kong, located in the prestigious and fashionable Pacific Place Shopping Mall on Hong Kong Island. Other shops opening this spring in Greater China include Shanghai and Taipei with plans for new boutiques at Hong Kong International Airport and a corner at Kuala Lumpur International Airport well under way.
Also in China, stand-alone boutique began trading at Shanghai Pudong Airport earlier this month, following hot on the heels of a store opening in Beijing’s China World Shopping Mall in January.
Besides Greater China and southeast Asia, Frey Wille has set its sights on Japan and South Korea. Two new shop-in-shops opened in South Korea last month, at Galleria Department Store, Seoul, and Galleria Timeworld Department Store, Deajeaon.
Last year saw the opening of a shop-in-shop in China’s prestigious Beijing Lufthansa Centre Shopping Mall (Kempinski Hotel Beijing) in September.
The company is also present at the following locations in Asia:
Singapore: Singapore Changi International Airport;
China: Beijing International Airport, Beijing Downtown Duty Free, Beijing New Yansha Shopping Mall, Dalian International;
Taiwan: Taipei Sogo Department Store;
Japan: Tokyo, Ginza;
South Korea: Busan Gimhae International Airport.
