Leading Italian luxury handbag and accessories company Furla has opened a boutique in The Plaza at Vienna International Airport. It is the latest in a series of openings amid a big expansion drive, and follows the opening of a new location at Shenzhen Domestic Airport.
Featuring Furla’s SS14 collection, the 30sq m boutique was opened in partnership with concessionaire Jonak in Vienna.
Furla Global Travel Retail Director Gerry Munday said that 2013 has been a very busy year for Furla. “We recently opened a 75sq m store at Shenzhen Airport and will continue to open new locations globally throughout the rest of this year and next. This store is a fabulous size for Furla as it enables us to really portray the brand in the correct way.”
The new Furla boutique features the brand’s concept store design, which draws inspiration from the architectural details of the restored 18th century villa in Bologna that serves as Furla’s headquarters.
