GUADELOUPE. Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport operator Societe Aeroportuaire Guadeloupe Pole Caribes has issued a Request for Qualification (RFQ) for several food & beverage (F&B) concessions.
The airport, on Guadeloupe’s Grande Terre island, welcomed close to 2.5 million passengers in pre-pandemic 2019.
The concessions are part of a restoration programme in the airport’s terminals. Contracts are for seven years.
T1 options include a 94sq m space in Arrivals, intended for a self-service operation, and a 168sq m area earmarked for self and table service.
T1 Departures options include a 168sq m space for self or table service offering cooked meals, a salad bar, snacks, sandwiches, ice cream and a juice bar, and a 36sq m fast/casual bar concept, among others.
Two spaces – 50sq m and 60sq m – are available for tender in T2 Departures.
The forecourt facing T1 entrance/exit offers the opportunity for up to three F&B kiosks or food trucks, with an emphasis on local food to underline a Sense of Place.
The process was launched yesterday (12 August) with a 10 October 2021 application deadline. Further information can be requested by email: aoresto2021ptp@guadeloupe.aeroport.fr.
