CHINA. Gulf Pacific, the newly created company formed by travel retail veteran and former Foreo executive Gary Leong, has partnered with cdf Sunrise Duty Free for online listings of Los Angeles-based fashion and jewellery brand Nana Jacqueline.

The brand’s accessible jewellery and accessories debuted on the retailer’s online app in early August, ahead of the Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day), offering shoppers timely festive selections.
Established over 25 years ago, cdf Sunrise Duty Free is a key retailer at Shanghai Pudong Airport and also maintains a presence at other major travel hubs in Shanghai and Beijing.
The retailer’s mobile platform reaches over 35 million subscribers, with women representing 75% of users.
The Sunrise online platform, launched in 2022 during the COVID period, has performed strongly, selling to both mainland and domestic markets.

Gulf Pacific Founder Gary Leong said: “We are extremely proud of the partnership with cdf Sunrise Duty Free and the results to date. We are just halfway into September, and replenishment orders have just been received.
“With this successful listing of jewellery and accessories for the moment that caters to the urban Gen Z lifestyle, Gulf Pacific aims to break more ground by working with brands that resonate with a whole new generation.” ✈
