SWEDEN/HONG KONG. Daniel Wellington Head of Global Travel Retail Helen Wong has left the company, effective today (8 November) to pursue another opportunity.

Wong joined the Swedish watch brand in 2017 as Account Manager Travel Retail Asia Pacific. From a Hong Kong base, she spearheaded the brand’s development in travel retail in the region, securing partnerships with major retailers including China Duty Free Group, DFS and King Power.
Wong was named Head of Global Travel Retail earlier this year.
Her previous experience includes almost six years with DFS Group where she was Senior Assistance Merchandise Manager Luxury and Fine Watches (Global). Wong’s portfolio included Swatch Group and Hermès and Chanel watches.
Wong told The Moodie Davitt Report that her new position, which is also related to travel retail, will be announced shortly.
“Daniel Wellington has had exponential growth in the online and offline space since launching in 2011, and I am honoured to have had the honour to bring this also within travel retail together with my amazing team,” she said.
“Daniel Wellington maintains a high standard in affordable luxury which is an important segment that our travellers are seeking for. As I move onto the next chapter, I look forward to continuing to drive success within the travel retail industry, and to deliver exciting and meaningful initiatives for travellers.”
