FRANCE. Helena Rubinstein (L’Oréal Produits de Luxe International) has updated its luxury Life Pearl franchise ( The Moodie Report.com, 12 January 2004 ) with a new anti-ageing treatment, Life Pearl Cellular Rebirth Sumptuous Cream.
The product is already available in Europe and will be rolled out to the Americas from August.
Targeted at “mature” skin, Life Pearl Cellular is said to stimulate intense cellular regeneration and alleviate the visible signs of hormonal deficiencies. It helps counter chronic skin dryness, wrinkles and sagging, while boosting the complexion’s natural radiance, according to the company.
Key ingredients include the original Life Pearl’s Cyto-Pearl Elixirâ„¢, and a Radiance Glorifier.
The peach-coloured cream’s texture is claimed to moisturise without being greasy. It is fragranced with a subtle scent of Moroccan Iris, Bulgarian Rose and jasmine.
Life Pearl Cellular’s performance is reportedly enhanced by a specific application technique, using a Pearl Massager tool.
The treatment is presented in an iridescent, engraved black jar, designed to resemble a black pearl. The recommended domestic price point is €230 for 50ml.
Meanwhile, within make-up, Rubinstein has added to its mascara portfolio with a new product, Surrealist Mascara (right). It is being launched in Europe this month, and will roll out to Asia in August.
The product is said to deliver an ultra-glamorous look, thanks to a triple-lengthening effect. It features natural fibres that act as mini lash extensions, according to Rubinstein. These are deposited at the tips of the lashes by a special “ultra-gliding” brush.
Surrealist Mascara is available in three shades: blue, brown and black. It is priced domestically at €26.
