Is my Kiwi bias showing again in today’s choice? Well, yes, mea culpa. But what an amazing image it is, courtesy of DFS Group and the retailer’s Grand Opening of the revamped T Galleria by DFS, Auckland in my country’s biggest city.
The photo above shows the spectacular art installation by local graffiti artist Otis Frizzell on the store’s historical staircase (the store is housed in Auckland’s much-revered Customhouse).
Judging by the dazzling array of Kiwi design talent and international brands on offer, this truly was a stairway to (retail) heaven. A banner statement in every sense.
