Our regular feature, brought to you in association with Duty Free Global from Ireland, celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns related to the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

SPAIN. Today’s selection comes from Areas Iberia, which has brought a colourful celebration of Mallorcan culture and creativity to Palma de Mallorca Airport through a collaboration with Stick No Bills Global Fine Art Prints. The images were shared on the official Areas LinkedIn page.
The partnership has transformed Areas Iberia’s proprietary concept, strEAT Food Market, into a showcase for the island’s rich graphic heritage with a travel poster installation.
The exhibition celebrates the artistic legacy of Imprenta Nueva Balear, described as the oldest operating printing house in the Mediterranean.

It reinforces Areas’ wider ambition to reimagine airport dining spaces with storytelling and sense of place.
The company said, “At Areas, we want our locations to be much more than a dining stop: attractive, distinctive spaces that reflect the essence of each destination.”
The strEAT Food Market gallery invites travellers to begin discovering the destination before they have even left the airport.
