MALAYSIA. Today’s images and video, shared by design specialist Lead8, capture how Rimba at Kuala Lumpur International Airport engages passengers through a blend of nature, art and digital storytelling within a rainforest-inspired leisure space.
Located within the Satellite Building at Terminal 1, Rimba is a multi-sensorial exhibition that introduces a moment of calm to the terminal.
Spanning 970sq m, the open-air environment offers travellers a space to unwind, combining lush tropical plants, art installations and digital displays inspired by Malaysia’s natural and cultural heritage.
Described as a “living tribute to Malaysia’s rainforest” by Lead8, the Design Consultant for the project, the design taps into biophilic trends to make busy terminals feel more inviting and less rushed. ✈
