The airport serves Phu Quoc Island, a popular destination in southern Vietnam.
The departures store offers “a little more to discover in Phu Quoc”, bringing together an impressive assortment across multiple categories, from fragrances, spirits and confectionery to gifts, featuring both established international brands and distinctive local offerings.
VDF Phu Quoc caters to both gifting and personal shopping needs, offering a range of quality products at attractive duty-free prices in a convenient airport location.
The Phu Quoc International Airport store adds to Vietnam Duty Free’s expanding retail network across key airports in the country, including its recently opened location at Noi Bai International Airport Terminal 2.
The Noi Bai store was formally inaugurated on 15 October, following its soft opening on 19 September.
Positioning itself as ‘The National Duty Free of Vietnam’, the retailer operates shopping zones in both the east and west wings of Noi Bai Airport T2. The west-wing location introduced a pioneering walk-through retail concept to Vietnamese travel retail.
Later this year, Vietnam Duty Free is also set to open a large retail space immediately after central security, in the area formerly occupied by Empire Duty Free. ✈
