UK. Imperial Tobacco will be continuing its effort to build “British Brands” of cigarettes and tobacco within the North American market at the Duty Free Show of the Americas (IAADFS) in Florida, USA.
On show will be British brands Lambert & Butler, Superkings and Regal, which will be presented alongside Davidoff and West in the cigarette category, and rolling tobacco brands Golden Virginia & Drum and Rizla cigarette papers.
Rizla will be offered as a travel pack at the show.
Lambert & Butler, the UK’s biggest cigarette brand, is undergoing a redesign in 2006 and new look packs will be on show in Fort Lauderdale.

Imperial Tobacco has also acquired the agency for two sku’s of brands from China, which will be on display.
Imperial Regional Director Asia & Americas Duty Free John Kammerman says, “We are pleased to have secured distribution rights to these brands in North America, where we will be looking to initially develop the brands’ franchises.”
