UK. Next year’s ISPY (Inflight Sales Person of the Year) airline retail event will feature a one-day trade show, organiser Travel Retail Training UK has revealed. ISPY 2013 will be held at the Brighton Hilton Metropole Hotel on 14-18 January 2013.
The new exhibition will take place on Friday 18 January, following the previous day’s Supplier Showcase speed networking event. TRT UK said the development was a result of direct feedback from airline and supplier partners.
The company said: “Once again we stand firm and protect the investment of our sponsors by not allowing suppliers to attend as delegates. We are also inviting buyers from airlines not already signed up to ISPY to attend [the networking session on] Thursday evening and the trade show free of charge, so that we get the right people for our sponsors to do business with.”
ISPY sponsors can also book private appointments with attending concessionaires. Sponsors will also receive a full delegate list with contact email address to arrange appointments, prior to the event.
The five-day airline retail event features training sessions and workshops for inflight retail staff as well as a conference programme, product showcases and networking events.
