Dublin Airport’s Jameson Whiskey promotion |
IRELAND. In the lead-up to next month’s Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, Dublin Airport is running in-store promotions designed to encourage sales and increase awareness of the film festival.
Under the tagline “Something Big Is Coming to Dublin and You Could Be There Too!” the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival promotion was launched at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in October, where sales of Jameson have since grown +35%.
The promotion also ran at Prague Airport in November, before commencing in Dublin in December.
Travellers are invited to participate in an electronic “Director’s Chair” race, where the fastest time each day qualifies for entry into a competition to win the chance to experience the life a Hollywood star.
Passengers can also enter the competition by naming three stars who have previously attended the event. A video loop will be played in outlets displaying famous attendees of past festivals.
The winner will receive travel to the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, 5 star hotel accommodation, dinner at an exclusive Dublin club, arrival by limousine to the official Jameson Experience Party on 17 February and the opportunity to have drink with the stars.
