THAILAND. King Power International Group soft opened its new duty free complex in Phuket on Tuesday, the popular holiday island’s first downtown duty free store.
King Power International Group Senior Executive Vice President Susan Whelan told The Moodie Report this morning that the formal opening would be celebrated on 20 December.
She said that the 48,000sq m store, located in Chalong – the subject of a THB4.5 billion (US$125 million) investment – consists of three main areas: a duty free zone, a local Thai product zone and a food & drinks zone.
We’ll bring you a Picture Gallery of the new store very soon.
King Power International Group first announced the project during its spectacular 25th anniversary celebrations in Bangkok last year.
