UK. London Luton Airport has revealed a brace of food & beverage openings, including sushi and bento specialist Wasabi and The Fletton bar, the latter complete with an outdoor terrace.
Operated by Lagardère Travel Retail, Japanese cuisine restaurant Wasabi has opened a 107sq m space featuring a dine-in area with 30 seats and a grab-and-go counter.
This is Wasabi’s first franchise opening, adding to a portfolio of more than 60 restaurants worldwide, including 35 in London and two in New York.

The brand was founded in the English capital in 2003 by South Korean entrepreneur Dong Hyun Kim and is known for its freshly prepared sushi and bento.
The Fletton has been launched in partnership with TGRC. It offers passengers a varied breakfast menu ranging from fry ups to avocado toast, as well as all-day classics, including burgers, wraps and fresh sandwiches.

London Luton Airport Head of Surface Access and Retail Mark Jennings commented, “These exciting new developments at London Luton Airport demonstrate our desire to provide even greater choice, and our commitment to providing a simple and friendly passenger experience.
“With Mexican, Indian, American and Italian menus already available in the terminal, the pub classics that make up the Fletton menu and the contrasting traditional Japanese flavours at Wasabi mean we can cater to the tastebuds of anybody travelling through LLA.”
Earlier this year, London Luton Airport revealed the UK’s largest airside restaurant, Sanfords. The restaurant went on to win the European Restaurant Design of the Year award at The Moodie Davitt Report’s 2025 Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Awards in Barcelona.
The latest food & beverage openings at the airport are complimented by two new retail stores – Victoria’s Secret (see our story here) and Pandora.
