Lotte Duty Free and Jung Kwan Jang tap K-food and wellness trends with Everytime Royal Hello Kitty edition

Hello Kitty adds a familiar character touch to Everytime Royal’s signature red aesthetic

SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has partnered with Jung Kwan Jang for the exclusive launch of the Hello Kitty edition of the Korean red ginseng brand’s signature liquid stick, Everytime Royal.

Available across the retailer’s store network and online platform, the limited edition builds on the product’s growing popularity among Korean and foreign travellers, with its convenient stick format and red ginseng offering.

Hello Kitty visuals feature across the stick packs, adding collectable appeal and a playful element to the product.

The Sanrio character has a broad following across generations, from teenagers to consumers in their 40s, with collaborations across F&B, fashion and lifestyle.

The Everytime Royal Hello Kitty edition is available in two formats: a 20-stick pack bundled with a Hello Kitty plush keyring, and a 50-stick pack that comes with a plush keyring and Hello Kitty luggage tag.

The launch, which follows the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by Lotte Duty Free and Jung Kwan Jang in June, adds to the retailer’s expanding K-food offering and responds to growing international interest in Korean food and wellness products.

Lotte Duty Free is serving up more K-food options in travel retail, expanding Arih distribution to key locations including its Busan store, which opened on 5 June

Among its recent additions is Arih, a wellness-focused food brand developed by Paldo and Hy in collaboration with K-pop superstars BTS.

The retailer’s wider K-food selection also includes Seja Coffee, Ediya Coffee, Bokhodu, Jardin and Muryangsu.

A Lotte Duty Free official said, “By adding the sensibility of the globally popular character Hello Kitty to Jung Kwan Jang’s premium red ginseng products, we aim to provide a differentiated duty-free shopping experience to customers at home and abroad.

“We will continue to introduce diverse food content with collectable value and product competitiveness by reflecting global interest in K-food and customer demand.”
