NETHERLANDS. Dutch agency company Sea & Sky Supply has acquired the rights for the duty free distribution of the Mitch & Marc brand of jewellery/watch boxes and timepieces for all markets except Asia, where the Australian company will be representing itself. The distribution deal was effective from the end of 2008.
Sea & Sky Supply will be showcasing Mitch & Marc’s collections at the IAADFS Duty Free Show of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale this month (Booth number: 2226).
Mitch & Marc’s Watch WinderMitch & Marc is one of the world’s leading makers of jewellery and watch boxes. Finely crafted in leather, paired with felt and suede, the boxes are finished with subtle stitching. The interior of each box incorporates practical pockets, sliding trays, clever fasteners and secret compartments.
Mitch & Marc also supplies watches. In one year, 12,000 chronograph timepieces were sold from just one inflight catalogue, the company said. Mitch & Marc has since released its Watch Winder for watch aficionados.
Since its creation in 1998, Mitch & Marc has rapidly evolved from counter-selling into a comprehensive lifestyle concept with boutiques in top shopping malls worldwide. Mitch & Marc’s store locations span Sydney, Perth, Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur.
In the travel retail channel, Singapore Changi Airport has invited Mitch & Marc to set up a boutique offering its exclusive line of products to travellers in both Terminal 1 and T2.
Apart from being well represented in inflight catalogues, the Mitch & Marc brand has collaborated with major corporations to create corporate-bespoke gifts and products for customers, such as Singapore Airlines’ Priority Passenger Service club members. Mitch & Marc frequently receives requests from various corporations to design personalised items.
