French skincare company Naos, owner of Bioderma, has announced a distribution agreement for the African travel retail market with Afrique DistriHub, part of DFP World’s Afrique Duty-Free division.

This partnership will see Afrique DistriHub coordinate supply of Bioderma products to selected duty-free retailers across the continent, operating under Naos’s marketing and compliance framework.

“Travel retail is a key growth channel for all dermocosmetics brands, and Africa represents a market of increasing relevance,” said DFP World spokesperson Aidai Usubakunova.

In August, Naos Global Travel Retail and Expansion Manager Irina Beltcheva spoke to The Moodie Davitt Report about the growing demand for dermo-cosmetic skincare among travellers. Click on the image to read the full interview.

Naos Global Travel Retail and Expansion Manager Irina Beltcheva commented, “This partnership marks an important step in expanding Bioderma’s reach across emerging travel retail regions.

“Working with DFP World and Afrique DistriHub allows us to ensure dermatological expertise and brand consistency are delivered to travellers throughout the African continent – in line with Naos’s commitment to ecobiological, science-driven skincare.”

The agreement underscores Bioderma’s commitment to controlled, brand-led expansion in frontier markets, with DFP World providing the regional execution platform through Afrique Duty-Free.
