BELGIUM. Créateur Chocolatier Neuhaus launched fresh flavours and new packaging for its confectionery lines at the TFWA Asia Pacific show in Singapore last month.
Both the Napolitains and the Brussels Collection were presented in new packaging which was described by the company as “trendy but still stylish”. New flavours were added to both assortments.
Extra Napolitains: Two new flavours were added to the square chocolate range. The first is Napolitain Dark 70% with cocoa beans, made of extra bitter chocolate with hints of cocoa. The second, Napolitain milk with caramel has a smooth, sweet taste. Ten flavours are now available in the range, including milk, milk with coffee, milk with caramel, milk with nougat, dark 52%, dark 52% with tea, dark 52% with peppermint, dark 70%, dark 70% with orange, and dark 70% with cocoa beans.
Napolitains are now offered in four packs:
– 24 Napolitains, Dark 70%, 120g, 15 units per case pack
– 24 Napolitains, Milk and Dark 52%, 120g, 15 units per case pack
– 50 Napolitains, Milk and Dark 52%, 250g, 12 units per case pack
– 50 Napolitains, 10 Flavours, 250g, 12 units per case pack
Brussels Collection: New flavours have also been added to the Brussels Collection and its packaging has been completely redesigned. With four fresh flavours, the assortment now numbers ten varieties. Each flavour comes with its own specific packaging – a “nice detail”, according to Philip Geeraert of Neuhaus.
The packaging is based on a cube with a sleeve, which is different for each flavour. The four new flavours are:
– Brussels Collection Gianduja, 150g, 12 units per case pack
– Brussels Collection Tiramisu Truffles, 150g, 12 units per case pack
– Brussels Collection Mix of Liqueur Chocolates, 150g, 12 units per case pack
– Brussels Collection Millionnaire-Millénaire, 150g, 12 units per case pack
Other flavours available to travel retail buyers are:
– Brussels Collection Amourettes, 150g, 12 units per case pack
– Brussels Collection Orangettes, 150g, 12 units per case pack
– Brussels Collection Truffles, 150g, 12 units per case pack
– Brussels Collection Champagne Truffles, 150g, 12 units per case pack
– Brussels Collection Euro Milk & Dark, 160g, 12 units per case pack
– Brussels Collection Fruits de Mer, 160g, 12 units per case pack
