The company has plans for over 25 locations on the Mexico and Canada borders, selecting key cities with high income cross border traffic and key demographic population pockets with high disposable income.
“Our concept from the beginning has been to bring an elevated duty free shopping experience to consumers, and we’re thrilled to finally see that come to fruition,” said Duty Free City CEO Philippe Dray. “We couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our flagship location than San Ysidro, and we look forward to serving the many consumers who pass through here each day.”
To mark the occasion, the local community is invited for complimentary manicures, pedicures, makeup application, mini facials, blow outs, shaves and trims until 31 October.
