UK. L’Occitane en Provence marked its 50th anniversary with an intimate cocktail reception at Mosimann’s Club in London yesterday (13 october), celebrating the people, partnerships and entrepreneurial spirit behind the beauty brand.
The evening also marked the publication of Entrepreneurs by Nature, a book by author Anna Nicholas celebrating five decades of entrepreneurship at L’OCCITANE Group and the individuals who have shaped its journey.
Among the highlights was Nicholas’ conversation with L’OCCITANE Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Reinold Geiger, who reflected on recognising the potential of a small Provençal beauty business and helping transform it into a global beauty group.
Geiger also emphasised the company’s philosophy that people, planet and profit go hand in hand, underpinned by an entrepreneurial mindset. ✈
