
USA. Paradies Lagardère has unveiled four destination-inspired retail concepts at San José Mineta International Airport (SJC), spotlighting locally made products and San José entrepreneurs.
The openings include The Goods @ SJC with Hip & Humble, Plaza de San José, Poppy’s Essentials and SJC Exchange, strengthening the airport’s sense of place while showcasing the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of San José and Silicon Valley.

The concepts, developed in partnership with San José Mineta International Airport, also offer a mix of travel essentials, local products, fresh gourmet food and retail experiences tailored to travellers.

- The Goods @ SJC with Hip & Humble combines travel essentials with a thoughtfully curated collection of gifts and accessories, marking the eighth location in Paradies Lagardère’s partnership with the boutique.
- Plaza de San José captures the culture and diversity of San José through local products, gifts and travel necessities, and features iStore Express, a tech-focused shop-in-shop with products from brands such as Apple, Bose, Beats, JBL and Skullcandy.
- Poppy’s Essentials offers a convenient selection of grab-and-go food, beverages and travel essentials.
- SJC Exchange provides a modern mix of snacks, tech accessories and locally inspired merchandise that reflects the innovative spirit of Silicon Valley.

The stores showcase established regional makers including Daybreak Vietnamese Coffee, known for its premium robusta coffee slow-roasted in the traditional Vietnamese style and blended with locally sourced sweetened condensed milk.
Santa Clara-based GingerLab is also among the featured brands, with its handcrafted ginger beer made from fresh ginger and lemons, with a distinctive fiery kick.
Nokki Farm adds its range of freeze-dried fruit snacks to the retail selection.
A smoodi machine provides another convenient grab-and-go option, allowing customers to blend a fresh 16-ounce smoothie in one minute from a choice of six flavours. ✈
