Fine jewellery brand Qeelin has unveiled a spectacular summer installation themed ‘Powerful Love’ at China Duty Free Group’s (CDFG) Sanya Haitang Bay International Shopping Complex.
The one-month installation through August is designed to showcase the positive spirit and good fortune of Qeelin’s symbols, which represent the power of love. In partnership with CDFG, Kering Group-owned Qeelin is debuting the new Xiao Q bracelets collection exclusively at the Qeelin duty free boutique inside CDF Mall.

The contemporary installation is notable for its vibrant portrayal of Chinese cultural symbols. An enormous glowing Qeelin Wulu totem anchors the display, representing a boundless source of positive energy, while its ‘8’ shape invites wealth in Chinese culture.
The agile and playful Bo Bo pandas are seen having fun amid the display to spread a message of love and peace. Radiating heart shapes on the base of the installation pulsate with the vitality of life that Qeelin wishes to share with the world.

The installation interprets the beauty of Chinese cultural symbols with an artistic modern twist to evoke the ‘Powerful Love’ that the brand seeks to deliver.

The Xiao Q collection, which literally means ‘small and cute’, offers delicate bracelets made of 18k rose gold with diamonds and precious gems such as rubies designed to bring sparkle and energy into the wearer’s daily life. Each chain comes with one of Qeelin’s charm-sized icons and the letter Q that represents the Q monogram from the Qeelin logo.
Qeelin – founded in 2004 and named after the Qilin, an auspicious Chinese mythical animal and icon of love – is known for its contemporary jewellery designs. These translate Chinese culture with trendy expressions in a mission to pass on the rich heritage of Chinese symbolism to future generations.
Every piece of the house’s jewellery conveys these cultural connotations. The pieces reinterpret traditional symbols with stylish designs intended for daily wear, with the aim of infusing new life and contemporary meaning to Chinese heritage.
