SWITZERLAND. Swarovski has appointed Andreea Marginean as Head of Global Wholesale Channel, expanding her leadership responsibilities to include the company’s worldwide wholesale business alongside its global travel retail operations.
Marginean, who has led Swarovski’s Global Travel Retail Division with much distinction since April 2023, announced the appointment on LinkedIn.
She confirmed that travel retail will remain an integral part of her remit as the company seeks to strengthen the connection between the two channels.
The appointment marks a milestone in Marginean’s Swarovski career, which spans almost seven years.

Since joining the Austrian crystal house in 2019 as Senior Manager Global Commercial Programs, Marginean has progressed through a succession of increasingly senior international leadership positions.
These have included Head of Global Sales Planning; International Area Manager for DACH, the UK & Nordics, Australia & New Zealand; and Head of International Area Management for EMEA and South Asia before taking the helm of the Global Travel Retail business in 2023.
Before joining Swarovski, Marginean spent more than nine years with Procter & Gamble.
Commenting on her new position, Marginean said: “In this expanded role, I am excited to work with our global and local teams to strengthen partnerships, accelerate growth, and deliver lasting value for our customers.
