A.S.Lal: Delighted with the appointment and the product |
OMAN. Sweets of Oman, manufacturers of confectionery products led by toffees and eclairs, has appointed Kreol Travel Retail as the company’s distributor for the channel.
“We are delighted with the appointment and confident about the product,” said Travel Retail CEO A.S.Lal. “We are fully geared to take Sweets of Oman to various travel retail outlets.”
The company’s Chiko brand products are sold to over 40 countries, including travel retail outlets. They can be found in airport retail locations in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, Muscat and Nairobi as well as in India.
In the confectionery segment, they are ranked number three at Bahrain Duty Free and number two at Muscat Duty Free, Lal said.
Sweets of Oman Export Manager Mahavir Jain said: “Kreol Travel Retail also represents famous international confectionery brands like Turin and Jelly Belly so their experience definitely adds value to our brand.”
“We have various pack sizes which are mostly suitable for travel retail outlets,” said Kreol Travel Retail Business Development Executive Sijo Devassy.
