“This transition marks both continuity and change” – Manishi Sanwal leaves Adani Airports

Manishi Sanwal: “A renewed commitment to shaping brands that resonate with aspiration, quality and excellence”

INDIA. Adani Airports Head of Business Development (Non-aero) Manishi Sanwal is leaving the company to return to his entrepreneurial  roots.

As reported, the highly respected executive assumed the post in June 2024, moving from acclaimed Bengaluru-based travel retail data analytics company Voiceback Analytics, where he was Co-founder, CEO & Managing Director. Voiceback Analytics specialises in market research, operations and technology services.

Earlier in his career, Sanwal held leadership roles with LVMH, Mumbai Duty Free and Flemingo Travel Retail before establishing Voiceback Analytics.

Commenting on his move, Sanwal told The Moodie Davitt Report, “I had the privilege of contributing to one of India’s most dynamic infrastructure and aviation growth stories.

“As I take this step forward, I return to being an entrepreneur. My earlier incubation was in data analytics and AI with Voiceback Analytics, which has now matured into an established company, managed by a strong team of professionals, and continues to thrive independently.

“While technology and AI will always remain areas of deep interest, my next entrepreneurial journey will be on building and scaling premium brands – a space where I began my career with LVMH Group and one that continues to inspire me.

“This transition marks both continuity and change: continuity in my passion for creating value through innovation, and change in the form of a renewed commitment to shaping brands that resonate with aspiration, quality and excellence.

“In this journey, I will also remain active in travel retail, which I believe is one of the finest retail environments for luxury brands, offering a unique global stage for innovation and consumer engagement.

“I look forward to this new chapter with the same energy and vision that has guided my journey so far. I will announce more details in the months to come and hope to stay in touch with this wonderful industry.”
