CHINA. Travel Blue has strengthened its footprint in China travel retail through new listings with China Duty Free Group (CDFG).

Its products are now available at the cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, Sanya Phoenix International Airport and downtown duty-free stores in Harbin, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, adding to its existing airport presence.

CDFG and Travel Blue first partnered in 2010 with listings at Guangzhou, Tianjin, Qingdao, Changsha, Shanxi and Wenzhou international airports. The partnership has since fuelled strong distribution growth, most recently highlighted by an eight-week pop-up at Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport ahead of the 2025 Chinese New Year.

Travel Blue China Managing Director Andy King commented, “We’re really pleased to expand with China Duty Free Group into island and downtown stores.

“China was and still is one of the cornerstones of our business and our long-standing cooperation with CDFG has always been very important for growing our presence there.

Travel Blue continues its retail expansion in the Chinese market with a new point-of-sale location in cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex and a dedicated brand corner in Guangzhou downtown

“We now supply CDFG stores in over 30 airports. Our local team works closely with CDFG head office and teams in each airport. We are confident we will invest further and open more Travel Blue brand corners and shop-in-shops in different key airports in the future.”

The new additions mark another step in Travel Blue’s growth strategy, extending its reach into more than 110 markets and its 400-strong product portfolio since it was founded in London in 1987.
