USA. WHSmith North America has announced the opening of Bonton Farms at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) Terminal A this autumn.
The opening further expands WHSmith North America’s network of more than 350 stores across airports, rail stations and resorts in the region.

It also marks Bonton Farms’ first location outside South Dallas, bringing its community-focused mission to the airport environment. The nonprofit works to address systems of inequity through economic development, workforce training, access to fresh food and neighbourhood revitalisation.
The partnership with the travel retailer brings a curated Bonton Farms assortment to the airport, including locally produced honey, handmade jams, goat milk soaps, grab-and-go food, apparel and gifts. The range features products developed by Bontonpreneurs – entrepreneurs participating in Bonton Farms’ business development initiatives.
The store will incorporate elements of Bonton Farms’ South Dallas identity into its visual design, creating an inviting retail environment for travellers to discover locally made products and meaningful gifts.

WHSmith North America CEO Huw Crwys-Williams said, “At WHSmith North America, we are committed to creating meaningful retail experiences that reflect the communities we serve.
“Bonton Farms is more than a local brand. It is an organisation creating lasting impact across Dallas and the wider Metroplex area. We are proud to partner with them to introduce millions of travellers each year to products with a purpose while helping amplify a mission that is transforming lives.”
The addition of Bonton Farms underscores the airport’s commitment to supporting local businesses and creating an authentic North Texas experience for travellers.

The partnership also connects travellers to a local organisation working across agriculture, workforce development, education, health and wellness, economic stability, and safe and affordable housing.
Bonton Farms President & CEO Mark Jones said, “This opening represents an exciting milestone for Bonton Farms and the community we serve.
“For the first time, our products and our story will reach travellers from around the world. Through this partnership with WHSmith North America, we’re creating new opportunities to share the mission of Bonton Farms while generating additional support for programnes that help our neighbours thrive.”
Bonton Farms Director of Operations Kendra Charisse Smith added, “This store isn’t just retail space, it’s a front door to our mission.
“From sourcing and packaging our products to meet the demands of a whole new scale of distribution, every step was about making sure Bonton Farms shows up authentically in one of the busiest airports in the world.
“This launch reflects the same care and intentionality we put into everything we do in South Dallas. Seeing it come together has been one of the most rewarding projects of my career.” ✈
