Our regular feature, brought to you in association with Duty Free Global from Ireland, celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns related to the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

INDIA. Our images today are courtesy of Ospree Duty Free, which has lifted the curtain on a bright new look for its duty-free store at Trivandrum International Airport in the state of Kerala.
The reopening blends contemporary retail design, digital innovation and Kerala’s rich cultural traditions, reflecting the retailer’s continued investment in enhancing the passenger shopping experience.

The transformed store introduces a refreshed retail environment with improved lighting, modern interiors and an expanded product mix spanning spirits, perfumes, confectionery, fashion and a new Super Mart offering an extensive range of food and non-food essentials.

Among the standout features is what Ospree Duty Free describes as Kerala’s first duty-free in-store customer assistance robot, enabling passengers to access product information and promotional offers while rewarding shoppers with gift vouchers worth IR500 (US$5.18) and IR1,000 (US$10.36).
The retailer has also introduced digitally signed invoices delivered directly to customers via WhatsApp, another first for a duty-free store in the state.

To celebrate the reopening, customers can enjoy exclusive gift with purchase offers, including a complimentary trolley worth IR4,999 (US$51.18) on qualifying purchases, a hip flask with purchases of select Indian brands, a Marshall Tech Kit Organizer or a tote bag.
The reopening is supported by extensive airport-wide marketing across digital screens and outdoor media, regional news platforms and local influencers.
Ospree Duty Free CEO Gaurav Singh said: “The opening of our Trivandrum Duty Free store marks an exciting step in Ospree Duty Free’s expansion journey.
